Visiting Media Accessibility Statement
A Commitment to Digital Inclusion
Visiting Media is committed to creating inclusive digital experiences that work for everyone. We believe accessibility is essential to usability, and we strive to ensure our platform can be used by individuals of all abilities.
To support this commitment, we follow recognized accessibility standards, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We aim to meet the WCAG 2.1 Level AA standard by designing experiences that are:
- Perceivable – content is available to users in ways they can perceive
- Operable – functionality is accessible via keyboard and other devices
- Understandable – content and interfaces are clear and predictable
- Robust – compatible with assistive technologies and modern browsers
Our teams incorporate accessibility best practices into the design, development, and quality assurance of our digital products, and we are continuously working to identify and address areas where improvements can be made. We use a combination of automated tools, manual checks, and assistive technology (such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, and color contrast analyzers) to identify and fix accessibility barriers.
Many of our customers use Visiting Media tools to create and publish their own content. While we do not control this customer-managed content, we provide resources and guidance to support accessibility and encourage inclusive design.
Some of our enterprise customers maintain internal accessibility standards for hosted content, including immersive and interactive formats like virtual tours. Where applicable, Visiting Media aligns with these requirements by supporting full keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility, and proper labeling for assistive technologies. Our accessibility testing includes real-world validations using tools like screen readers and browser-based inspections.
We also believe accessibility is critical for real-world hospitality, and we’re proud to offer services that help our customers visually showcase accommodations to travelers before they arrive, empowering the industry to live up to its commitments and deliver on the promise of more inclusive guest experiences.

Last Updated: October 22, 2026
1. Purpose
This policy establishes Visiting Media’s commitment to digital accessibility and outlines the procedures and standards by which we ensure our services, products, and content are accessible to people of all abilities. This includes both internal and customer-facing platforms. Accessibility is essential to user inclusion and supports both legal compliance and user trust.
2. Our Commitment
At Visiting Media, we are committed to creating inclusive, accessible digital experiences that enable everyone regardless of ability to fully engage with our platform, content, and services.
We recognize that digital accessibility is not only a legal requirement, but also a social commitment and core part of inclusive technology design principles. We are committed to:
- Designing and developing digital experiences that support access by people with diverse abilities, including those using assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, and alternative input devices.
- Identifying and reducing barriers to access across our products and services.
- Continuously improving accessibility as our platform evolves.
3. Standards and Guidelines
We aim to align our accessibility efforts with recognized standards. Our adherence to these standards will evolve as the product and regulatory landscape changes, including:
- WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
- Applicable accessibility laws and regulations, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in the U.S. and emerging international requirements, such as the European Accessibility Act.
- For enterprise customers with platform-specific accessibility standards, Visiting Media follows internal customer checklists that align with WCAG 2.1 and include technical requirements for screen reader compatibility, keyboard navigation (Tab, Enter, arrow keys), visible focus indicators, and semantic labeling via
<iframe title>oraria-labelattributes.
4. Scope
This policy applies to:
- Customer-facing applications and web content developed or maintained by Visiting Media.
- Internal tools, portals, and communication platforms used by employees.
- Training materials and documentation, where applicable.
- Where enterprise customers require additional accessibility standards, Visiting Media implements those standards when applicable and feasible, particularly for virtual tour products.
Note: Third-party integrations and customer-managed content may not always be within our direct control. However, we make reasonable efforts to guide partners toward accessible implementations.
Similarly, parties who use Visiting Media’s services to create and share digital content are encouraged to apply accessibility best practices. While Visiting Media cannot control customer-managed content, we offer guidance and tools to support inclusive design and content accessibility.
5. Roles and Responsibilities
Accessibility is a shared responsibility across product, design, engineering, content, and legal teams. Visiting Media will:
- Designate internal owners to lead accessibility efforts and coordinate improvements.
- Provide internal education to increase awareness of accessibility best practices.
- Respond to accessibility inquiries in alignment with our internal compliance and audit protocols.
- Ensure customer service and sales teams are trained to recognize and route accessibility-related inquiries appropriately.
6. Accessibility Reviews and Audits
Visiting Media responds to customer accessibility reviews, audits, and questionnaires in accordance with this policy and current legal guidance. Where appropriate, we provide documentation, clarify the scope of responsibility, and communicate any planned or ongoing improvements.
In addition to responding to customer audits, Visiting Media conducts periodic internal accessibility testing, which may include third-party evaluations. For enterprise customers with specific standards, we align our validation process with their published checklists, including manual verification of keyboard navigation and screen reader functionality.
7. Legal Frameworks and Accessibility Concepts
In alignment with U.S. and international accessibility standards, Visiting Media recognizes the following legal concepts as relevant to digital service providers:
- Reasonable Modification and Accommodation: Visiting Media may adjust policies or provide auxiliary aids (e.g., screen readers, alternative formats) to support access, unless doing so would fundamentally alter the service or impose an undue burden.
- Undue Burden: If a requested accommodation would impose significant difficulty or expense, Visiting Media may explore alternate means of compliance or timelines for resolution.
- Program or Service Accessibility: Visiting Media’s accessibility obligation extends to its SaaS platform and user-facing digital services, consistent with ADA Title III and related laws.
- Accessible Formats and Auxiliary Aids: Includes practices such as using alt text, captioning, and content compatibility with assistive technology.
- Enterprise Customer Accessibility Requirements: Visiting Media recognizes that some enterprise customers maintain internal accessibility standards beyond legal obligations. We assess and incorporate these into our compliance and product development practices when deploying content to customer-managed platforms.
Visiting Media’s accessibility practices also support applicable aspects of SOC 2 Trust Services Criteria for Availability and Confidentiality.
8. Continuous Improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing process. As our platform evolves, Visiting Media will continue to refine our policies, tools, and development practices to support inclusion. We welcome constructive feedback from users and customers to help identify areas for improvement.
