Perhaps the most challenging part of our job each day is opening a conversation with a person who has never heard of TrueTour®, and doing our best to induce such enthusiasm and inspired curiosity that we successfully live through the first 2 minutes. If we can survive the initial skepticism and natural tendency to say no for no reason, then we are pretty much golden. Once a person sees what TrueTour is, and what it can do for any sales and marketing team, then the fun begins and the conversation is a bit like telling a child he will literally be meeting Santa any minute and can actually have every toy he wants. Really.
Just for fun – because we like to sit around and look at stats for fun – we pulled a few graphics to demonstrate our growth in 3 target markets: San Francisco, Seattle and Portland. We wanted to see a visible comparison from one year to the next of active TrueTours.
This was an exciting Aha Moment for us here, because we often discuss “target market strategy” and its efficacy over a broader approach. After viewing the analytics, we are more excited than ever to continue this target market strategy. Look for some exciting expansions to other key cities in the U.S., starting with… CHICAGO!
