Seeing notable TrueTour™ success with Accor properties in the United States, the company has expanded TrueTour to their Luxury & Premium brands in Central & Eastern Europe to elevate their international selling capabilities.

As a multinational hospitality company with holdings on nearly every continent, Accor was looking for a way to improve the performance of their event and leisure sales teams using innovation, versus just following the herd. They were particularly interested in converting more business at large trade events like Imex and driving private event bookings ‘at-a-distance’ through email, phone and proposal selling. That’s where Visiting Media came in.

Over a 6-month period a few dozen Accor Hotel properties in the Americas began utilizing the TrueTour™ Sales Enablement Platform and immersive content including 360°, 3D and virtual reality in their sales efforts. Applications included using TrueTour inside proposals, when on the phone with customers, in emails and via the TrueTour platform (on a device) during site tours.

Immersive content helped Accor properties, such as the Fairmont San Francisco, convey the capabilities and flexibility of their spaces, driving inbound leads, booking speed, conversions and customer happiness. The results gained in the US and Canada after two years with Visiting Media caught the eye of properties on other continents.

Accor’s division of Luxury & Premium Brands in Central & Eastern Europe was weighing a number of modern marketing tools to elevate their MICE and leisure selling capabilities to a global audience. As many competing technologies around the world made their proposals, being put through a rigorous vetting process, one platform stood out among the crowd. Measured against quality of visuals, ease of use, capabilities and ROI, TrueTour led the pack and became the top choice to take Europe’s Luxury and Premium brands to the next level in immersive marketing.

With these European properties, many of them simultaneously steeped in history and on the cutting edge of modern sophistication, it was vital to showcase the luxury and charm of each property in accordance with Accor’s standards for excellence. Starting with seven key European properties, the Visiting Media team went to work launching their TrueTour experiences.

Visiting Media was able to produce rapid results for each of these properties due to the swift and efficient participation of the property representatives at each hotel. Hand in hand with our Property Coaches, each hotel worked seamlessly to launch their Sales Enablement Platform (SEP) in order to see rapid returns on the corporate investment.
