Founded in 2014 by a hospitality entrepreneur, we are a technology company dedicated to delivering the world’s most effective sales tools for hotels and resorts. Visiting Media’s selling technology platforms are used by tens of millions of users around the globe. Touted as a “game-changer, redefining sales and marketing as we know it, the truest definition of the word ‘revolutionary,’” our platforms TrueTour™ and Visiting Media Platform are used by many of the world’s largest brands, ownership groups and management companies including Hilton, Hyatt, IHG, Aimbridge Hospitality, Host Hotels & Resorts and many more.
2011

Visiting Media's founders come from the hospitality industry. Owning independent event and wedding venues in the Pacific Northwest, they needed better technology to sell their spaces. They got together with talented local engineers and photographers to begin creating the first version of the TrueTour app.
2014
As the leading virtual experience providers in the Portland, Oregon area, TrueTour expanded from wedding venues to hotels, wineries and breweries across the region.
2015
Expanding into wine-growing regions across the country, Visiting Media partnered with OTAs to syndicate immersive media and put new destinations on the map.
2018

Expanding into the hospitality sector, major brands gained confidence in the immersive selling capabilities of TrueTour. Enterprise-level service was launched with groups like Sage Hospitality and Graduate Hotels.
2019

With Visiting Media's reputation for delivering excellence and putting customer experience first, interest accelerated with brand, management and ownership groups coming on board at an enterprise scale throughout five continents.
2020
With the COVID-19 pandemic, virtual selling became critical to properties around the globe. Visiting Media brought technological advancements such as Computer-Generated Imagery to market in order to virtually set up and furnish spaces with minimal contact. Virtual site inspection capabilities kept properties moving forward -- safely.
2023
In January 2023, Visiting Media received a strategic growth investment from JMI Equity, a growth equity firm focused on investing in leading software companies. The investment has accelerated Visiting Media's ability to bring new, innovative products and technologies to its growing customer base in the hospitality industry.
2024

In April 2024 Visiting Media announced a significant milestone in their journey: the unveiling of their sales enablement platform, Visiting Media Platform! As the first-of-its-kind sales enablement platform tailored specifically for the hospitality industry, it's next-gen sales enablement capabilities empower hospitality teams to meet evolving consumer demands.

Spazious & FirstView join Visiting Media, creating one of the world’s strongest portfolios for immersive selling and event planning, spanning the U.S., Europe, and Latin America.
