Visiting Media March Event Recap

It was an action-packed month for our team as we navigated through a series of engaging events and insightful conferences. Let’s take a moment to reflect on and celebrate some of the standout moments and achievements that unfolded throughout the month of March.

Remington Leadership Conference

Visiting Media had the pleasure of returning to the Remington Conference this year. Remington, a long-standing and loyal customer, has played a pivotal role in our journey, and we are truly excited to continue nurturing and growing our partnership with them. Our main aim for this year’s conference is to introduce a variety of fresh and innovative perspectives. These perspectives will not only complement but also provide room for their existing technological infrastructure to thrive.

StepStone Conference

Our Senior Vice President of Revenue embarked on a journey to join StepStone Hospitality at the 2024 StepStone Conference. This event presented an exceptional opportunity to connect and communicate the significance of immersive selling with their teams. Our team delved into the dynamic sales and marketing landscape within the hospitality industry, highlighting Visiting Media’s role in supporting this evolution. The Immersive Selling Strategy stands out as one of our most valuable assets, underscoring our commitment to educating our customers.

ITB Berlin

At the world’s leading travel show, our team joined over 5,500 exhibitors and 100,000 visitors to explore the latest trends in travel and hospitality. The theme of this year’s event was “Pioneer the Transition in Travel & Tourism. Together,” which aligned perfectly with Visiting Media’s mission to revolutionize the way hoteliers sell their properties through immersive technology.

Some notable takeaways from the event include:

  • The importance of sustainability in today’s travel industry. This was a recurring theme throughout many sessions and discussions at ITB Berlin.
  • Technology in hospitality enhances service delivery by empowering professionals with AI tools to provide exceptional personalized guest experiences, setting a new standard for post-COVID service.
  • The conference highlighted the evolving sales landscape in hospitality, emphasizing the importance of integrating marketing, distribution, and digitalization strategies to drive successful sales practices and innovation.

The Hunter Investment Conference

It was the first year our team attended the Hunter Investment Conference, and it was enlightening. Forecasts are on the rise for 2024, fueled by promising tailwinds from the Hunter Hotel Investment Conference. Technology is set to play a crucial role in helping hotels boost profitability, attract top talent, and stand out in consumers’ minds! Travelers have high expectations, and the industry leaders are stepping up. Differentiation, efficiency, and revenue growth are key takeaways from the Hunter Hotel Investment Conference, where immersive selling strategies are tailored to elevate every aspect of the business. A game-changer for the evolving hotel landscape!

Pyramid Global Leadership Conference

At the Pyramid Global Leadership Conference, we shared the stage with industry frontrunners from Revinate and Flip.to. Together, we delved into a panel discussion on marketing strategies in the ever-changing hospitality landscape. With Pyramid Global’s reach expanding, marketing plays a crucial role in tapping new markets and boosting revenue. We emphasized the significance of data-driven marketing to target and engage potential customers effectively. This discourse highlighted how technology can elevate marketing endeavors and create a personalized guest experience.

We really think about the changing buyer behavior in space. When we go back 5+ years ago, something like 90% of the people -particularly in the group business- were actually coming on site doing site visits. Well, you fast forward to today, that number is down to about 25% of buyers are doing on site visits. So for us, we really lean into help our clients adjust to that changing buyer behavior. We found that the sooner you can use immersive content in your selling process, the greater the chances to help the buyer make a decision in your favor and to make it quicker!
