TrueTour X Feature Series: TrueTour™ "Holodeck"

February 19, 2020

Over the next 8 weeks, we’ll be providing a sneak peek into the latest features included in the next evolution of the TrueTour hospitality selling platform. If you haven’t read our blog post about this next version of TrueTour, called “TrueTour X,” please do; it’s going to blow your mind! The industry hasn’t seen technology like this before: a cutting-edge, game-changing platform with a fresh user interface and features you’ve been asking for (and some you probably never thought possible!).

Today, we start with one aspect of TrueTour X which is out-of-this-world — literally. The team has lovingly given this tool the nickname “TrueTour Holodeck”. If you thought virtual reality was from the future, this TrueTour X feature is right out of a science fiction novel.

TrueTour “Holodeck”: WHAT IS IT?

TrueTour Holodeck is essentially what it sounds like — this technology creates virtual simulations of your property spaces, enabling virtual walkthroughs of rooms, venues and common locations based on architectural data for new builds and point cloud data for remodels.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Using existing data from digital scans and architectural data points, we can simulate any room or space of a property.

You share with us your renovation or new-build plans, and we virtually customize your space – furniture, wall coverings, lighting, anything you’d like to showcase from your state-of-the-art update. These simulations will then be available to use within your TrueTour X app.

HOW WILL I USE THIS?

You will be able to use TrueTour Holodeck in a myriad of different ways. Two of the most valuable ways are – one, to preview spaces undergoing a remodel, but not yet complete.  (Imagine showing these spaces fully remodeled, set up in a variety of ways months ahead of the actual remodel!) And two, to showcase new builds before they even break ground.

Instead of relying on verbal descriptions, sketches or mood boards, your prospects could literally envision their event set up in your renovated space – including furniture, new lighting, new wall structure and finishes, the entire place looking brand new and ready to go.

Taking this technology one step further, property investment groups and hotel brands who are trying to pre-fill their spaces years in advance now have that same opportunity to sell at a distance in a highly competitive landscape against current properties in their area. All your TrueTour Support Coach needs is some data from your architect, and they are able to virtually build a 3D model of your property, completely furnished and designed to specifications.

This new feature enables sales teams to begin selling rooms, suites and event spaces years in advance. Imagine the additional revenue that can now be generated! Industry standards will be shifted toward a new way of selling and completely shatter new-build revenue records. Studies show that properties able to clearly convey and sell spaces ahead of a remodel enjoy significant sales advantages!

Not only do TrueTour customers gain access to this technology at cost, but it’s all housed in the marketing powerhouse of the new TrueTour X platform – complete with sharing features, analytics and engagement data for curated outreach and follow-up.

In our next installment showcasing new TrueTour X features, you’ll find out how to use TrueTour’s new RFP/RFI and lead gateway features to capture customer leads and instantaneous engagement data.

Until then, visit our TrueTour X overview post to vote for your most-anticipated new feature, and tell us what you think about these exciting announcements in the comments!
